Using left over railroad tracks from the Holocaust & Genocide Memorial, the same material used in This Is Not A Nude Descending a Staircase, I cut over 1000 ¼” sections from a single 33-foot long track. Keeping the sections in numbered order, each was drilled, cleaned and coated, and reassembled in order onto a flexible steel cable to create one continuous 64-foot long sculpture that can conform to just about any space limitation.
