Arc of the Atlas
Arc of the Atlas is made up of thousands of sheets of stacked archival microprint paper- the same material used for making Dreaming of Machu Picchu- carved into a spinal form. It is capped at the top with a bronze atlas (the first vertebrae) while at the stainless steel base, a bronze sacrum balances the entire sculpture on one point.
